Our Story

Adam Jacobs; a skilled steel fabricator with a family background in horses, started repairing trailers part-time in 2003 in his garage. Word spread quickly that Adam’s work was meticulous and skillful. As demand grew, and volume exceeded the capacity of his garage, Adam established Townline Truck & Trailer in 2005 with the intention of providing service and repair for the local hauling community.  Adam’s attention to detail and excellence have built a small part-time business into a reputable resource for hauling products and services in the Finger Lakes area. Townline Truck & Trailer’s facility now boasts of several large service bays, state of the art equipment and multiple manufacturer lines of trailers. 

A Note From Adam

Now after many successful years of business I would like to thank my loyal customers.  A special thank you to Dan Chapman, who was instrumental in making this possible, and Jim Moses for his honest friendship, counseling and help. 

But mostly I’m thankful to my wife, who supports me 100% and my three sons who come “help” daddy at the shop!
